Hundreds of thousands of British nationals are currently at risk as Iran retaliates after US and Israel strikes.Yesterday morning, strikes began in Tehran in an attempt to change the regime, with the Israeli spy agency, Mossad, calling for an uprising on X (formerly Twitter). The supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in a strike on his compound, with state media confirming it hours later.Preliminary figures are that 201 are dead and 747 have been injured, including 153 killed in a strike on a school. Now, Iran is retaliating with strikes on Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the UAE. Officials at the Foreign Office are believed to be working on an emergency evacuation plan in case airspace across the Middle East remains closed.
