Addressing an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the situation in the Middle East, Pakistani delegate Asim Iftikhar said that he was concerned about the current situation in the Middle East. He said that the attack on Iran was carried out while diplomatic efforts were underway, and appealed to the parties to show patience and restraint.
