Dr. Sznajder is being recognized for his pioneering work in molecular genetics focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying neuromuscular and neuropsychiatric disorders - including myotonic dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and others - with the goal of advancing new targeted therapeutic approaches.
