Full Article

In late 2025, Australian animation company Glitch released the pilot for Knights of Guinevere, a psychological sci-fi horror series that could hopefully become its own series. Fans no longer need to hope, because it’ll be a full TV show now. On Friday, Glitch revealed the pilot was officially greenlit, making it the studio’s first 2D production. Since its September premiere, the pilot has hit big, amassing over 11.9 million viewers in its first week and becoming one of the studio’s strongest debuts. For those who’ve watched Glitch’s other web series, Murder Drones, Knights reportedly beat that premiere’s launch week by 304 percent. Created by The Owl House alums Dana Terrace, Zach Marcus, and John Bailey Owens, Knights of Guinevere is set on Park Planet, a literal planet-sized theme park with a mascot in an android named Guinevere. After finding a decommissioned Gwen droid, park workers Frankie and Andi discover something’s…off about this particular one, who’s also being sought out by the park’s elderly owner, Olivia. To celebrate the full order, Glitch released a video with tantalizing glimpses of episodes to come, and it doesn’t look like things are going to get better for the trio when next we see them. To help make the wait less painful, Glitch is releasing an art book for the Knights pilot. The limited edition book comes in hard and softcover formats and comes with storyboards, character concepts, and “striking visual concepts” from the pilot’s production. If you want it, you better hurry—it’ll only be available for three weeks and is priced at $35 for softcover and $50 for hard. Glitch is also running a sale on non-book Knights merch until March 6. We’ve been hard at work and it’s coming out beautifully. Incredibly proud of this team and honored to create alongside them. https://t.co/mTRBRlrL1P — Dana Terrace (@DanaTerrace) February 13, 2026 Want more io9 news?
