The report also reviewed the performance of the national economy and future forecasts up to 2027, confirming the high resilience of the Saudi economy and its ability to face global changes, alongside its continued achievement of remarkable growth rates that enhance the Kingdom's position among the fastest-growing and most stable economies.The council reviewed the report on the performance of the state budget for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025, presented by the Ministry of Finance, which included a comprehensive analysis of revenue, expenditure, and public debt levels, in addition to an analysis of local and global economic changes and their impact on financial indicators. The report highlighted the continued adoption of a balanced and flexible fiscal policy that supports economic growth and enhances sustainability in the medium and long term, through disciplined resource management and directing spending towards development projects and programs with economic and social impact.The council also discussed several organizational topics, including the draft government procurement and competition system, the draft space system, as well as a briefing on the progress made regarding the assignment of the University Affairs Council to update governance and compliance systems in public and private health universities and colleges, in accordance with the approved quality standards.In a related context, the council reviewed the results of the quarterly report on the real estate price index, along with summaries of the monthly reports on consumer prices and wholesale prices, in addition to the core reports that those indicators were based on.At the end of the meeting, the council made the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding the topics listed on its agenda.
