In a speech to Congress, Argentinian President Javier Milei hs said that he wants Argentina's alliance with the US to become a "state policy."
Argentinian President Javier Milei praised his relationship with the US President Donald Trump in an address to parliament on Sunday. He said that he wants to make the "strategic alliance" with the US a "state policy." Milei stressed the need to maintain good ties with the US, highlighting the financial support provided by Washington last year and alluding to the "special relationship" he has with Trump, whom he defined as a "key ally." Milei also expressed his support for the US-Israel war with Iran that began on Saturday and put Argentina on high alert. He said that he wants to expand his economic reforms. He announced apackage of 90 reforms in the address to parliament on Sunday, saying they would "redesign" Argentina "for the next 50 years."
